Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a dynamic health care profession that uses a physical approach to establish individuals over all well-being. The students who opt for this career will become professionals who will be working in the health care system, function by providing a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and direct patient care and support services that are critical to the other health professionals they work with and the patients they serve, using mechanical force and movements (bio-mechanics), manual therapy, exercise therapy, electro-therapy, re-mediates impairments and thus help promote mobility and function. The learning will include therapy services that may be provided as a primary care treatment alongside or in conjunction with other medical services. The study program will help the students to gain the required skills and methods that are necessary for the practice of physiotherapy treatment. The study involves specialties which include musculo-skeletal, sports, and neurology, wound care, EMG, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, orthopedics, women’s health and pediatrics.

Defense medical establishments, Hospitals, Educational institutes, Fitness centers, Orthopedic departments, Health Institutions, Physiotherapy equipment manufacturers, Private clinics, Rehabilitation centers for the handicapped, Schools for the mentally retarded and physically disabled children and Sports training facilities.
The student must be passed a two year Pre-University examination/ 12th/ Plus two education with English as one of the subjects and also Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects, who has a minimum aggregate marks of 45%.
