Empowering Young Minds: School Health Programme by 4th Year BSC Nursing Students

The 4th year BSc Nursing students of our institution conducted a School Health Programme at Mohre Public School, Hormavu Agara on 30th July 2025, as part of their community health nursing curriculum.

The initiative aimed to enhance health awareness among school children through engaging sessions on personal hygiene, nutrition, and basic preventive healthcare. The students also carried out health assessments and interactive activities designed to promote healthy habits in an age-appropriate and approachable manner.

This outreach not only benefited the students of Mohre Public School but also served as a valuable learning experience for our nursing students, helping them develop essential skills in communication, health education, and community service.

Such programmes reflect our continued commitment to nurturing socially responsible healthcare professionals who contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of society.
