Christian Institute ofAHS & Christian College of Physiotheray, Horamavu Agara, Bangalore, organised a Drug Free Awareness Walkathon on 26 September 2026 (Saturday) to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug use on individuals, families and society.

The Walkathon commenced at 8:00 AM from Horamavu Agara Lake and concluded at the Christian College Campus.

Faculty members and students participated enthusiastically in the Walkathon, carrying awareness messages and slogans promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The event provided an opportunity for students to actively engage with the community and communicate the importance of making healthy and responsible choices.

The Walkathon was conducted with good discipline and coordination under the guidance of the faculty and organising committee. Student volunteers played an important role in maintaining coordination and supporting the smooth conduct of the programme.

The event concluded with a strong message:

“Choose Life, Stay Drug Free.”
Say NO to Drugs – Say YES to Life.

The programme was a meaningful awareness initiative that brought together the faculty and students of Christian Group of Institutions in support of a healthier and drug-free society.
